Prasidh to Brevis, out Caught by Buttler!! A wicket to end. Hard back of a length delivery outside off, Brevis this time top-edges the pull as he comes on the front foot to pull, Buttler goes back and settles under that steepler. But Brevis has done his job. Prasidh pumps his fist in celebration. Buttler judged that well. Brevis c Buttler b Prasidh 57(23) [4s-4 6s-5]

Prasidh to Brevis, SIX, this time he has nailed this. Prasidh goes hard length and disappears. Brevis stays back and muscles the pull 81m back into the stands at deep mid-wicket. Dhoni with helmet and pads on watching on from the dugout claps in appreciation. Brevis was up to this as he knew what Prasidh would come up with

F
Siraj to Brevis, 1 run, that's the ball. Full and tailing into leg-stump, Brevis drives hard and straight to long-on. 50 for Brevis. What a signing he has been for CSK. Acknowledges the applause from the crowd
18.3
4
Siraj to Brevis, FOUR, Siraj is bleeding runs. It's a short of length delivery outside off, off-pace, width was there, Brevis slashes and gets it over backward point, no-one back and four more
18.2
6
Siraj to Brevis, SIX, smashed for six again. Again the slot ball, full outside off, right in Brevis' arc. He stays back and powers it flat and wide of long-on. This came right out of the screws
18.1
6
Siraj to Brevis, SIX, again a slot ball. It's full outside off, Brevis gets forward and lofts, kept the fielder interested for a while, but it sails over the fence, was the cross-seamer too
17.5
Arshad Khan to Brevis, 1 run, slower-ball on a length and outside off, Brevis shuffles across towards the line of that, slaps it hard and straight to long-off
17.4
4
Arshad Khan to Brevis, FOUR, audacious. Full outside off, Brevis tries the reverse-lap, top-edge and it flies to the fine-leg fence, instead of the third man one, but it won't matter to Brevis, he will take them
17.2
6
Arshad Khan to Jadeja, SIX, in the slot and six. Full on off, Jadeja gets forward and lofts through the line, holds his shape as well, sends this into the crowd at long-off
16.3
4
Gerald Coetzee to Brevis, FOUR, poor bowling. A slower-ball down leg, short fine was inside, Brevis loses one hand but helps it over Buttler, so easy for Brevis, was the slower-ball off-cutter
16.2
6
Gerald Coetzee to Brevis, SIX, the power of Brevis. It's full on off, Brevis gets forward and lofts, sliced across it and it fades away like a golf shot, clean and into the crowd at long-off
15.1
6
Rashid Khan to Brevis, SIX, fine loft. It's full and well wide outside off, but Brevis reaches for it and slams the loft straight down the ground, pure power, a flat hit too

Rashid Khan to Conway, out Bowled!! Rashid Khan with no celebration this time. 50 and out for Conway. It's a quicker length delivery that turns in slightly towards off and middle, Conway tries a big slogsweep and misses, the ball goes past the inside-edge and clatters into the stumps. Conway falls and GT keep picking up wickets despite the aggressive batting from CSK. Conway b Rashid Khan 52(35) [4s-6 6s-2]
13.2
F
Rashid Khan to Conway, SIX, superb shot to reach 50. Conway comes down the track and gets to the pitch of the ball, takes it on the half-volley and lofts clean and high and wide of long-off, such superb use of the feet, no celebrations from Conway
13
Shahrukh Khan to Conway, 1 run, again tries to dart a full ball almost like a yorker, Conway manages to scoop it to long-off
12.4
4
Shahrukh Khan to Brevis, FOUR, full toss, Brevis thumps it down the ground. That's a gift on arrival and accepted gleefully
12.3
W
Shahrukh Khan to Shivam Dube, out Caught by Gerald Coetzee!! In the airrr and taken. Shahrukh Khan, the man. Does it back in Tamil Nadu, does it for GT now. This is such a smart ball. Two things. The length is very full and he wanted to cramp the batter for room so he darted on middle stump. The result was Dube not being able to get a clean downswing of the bat and a hurried attempt for a six goes flatter and straighter than mid-wicket and it's pouched at long-on. He's done the job already! Shivam Dube c Gerald Coetzee b Shahrukh Khan 17(8) [6s-2]
12.2
6
Shahrukh Khan to Shivam Dube, SIX, short and muscled! The fear of not overpitching to Shivam Dube is real. The bowler wanted to bowl flat, but he's dropped it too short and Dube pulled that over mid-wicket
11.4
4
Rashid Khan to Conway, FOUR, oh he had to made the adjustment to reach out and open the bat face last second to send it wide of the man in the deep. Seemed like the googly wide of off stump, Conway hit that over cover for four more
11.2
6
Rashid Khan to Conway, SIX, slot ball and it sails over long-on. Rashid Khan does the overcorrection of bowling too full, Conway clears the front leg away and lofts it sweetly over the ropes
10.3
4
Gerald Coetzee to Conway, FOUR, fullish and Conway goes down the ground with mid-off up. Not the best of balls with that field. Again bat turned slightly on impact with the ball but it flew straight and away from the fielders
9.4
6
Sai Kishore to Shivam Dube, SIX, but this one's right in the slot and out comes the clean striking ability of Dube. Sai tried to hide this wide of off but Dube reached out and muscled it straight towards the sightscreen
9.2
W
Sai Kishore to Urvil Patel, out Caught by Shubman Gill!! Change of angle works for Sai Kishore. He bowled this closer to the RHB but got it spin away hoping to trick Urvil Patel into slogging across the line. That's exactly what Urvil did after jumping out of the crease. Ball was sliced high in the air and Gill judged the skier to perfection to take it going back from extra-cover. Another very useful innings from Urvil. Urvil Patel c Shubman Gill b Sai Kishore 37(19) [4s-4 6s-2]
9.1
6
Sai Kishore to Urvil Patel, SIX, lovely batting! Moved in the crease early to make aggressive intent very clear. Immediately the bowler is pushed into defensive move. Sai Kishore tried to drop it short and cramp him for room but Urvil got under the ball and timed the pull shot so well over mid-wicket
8.5
4
Rashid Khan to Urvil Patel, FOUR, belted! Full and just outside off stump, too full to trouble any batter and Urvil accepted the gift to thump it over the bowler's head
8.3
Rashid Khan to Conway, 2 runs, short and outside off stump, Conway cuts well, but it's cut off just inside the deep backward point fence
8.2
Rashid Khan to Urvil Patel, 1 run, dropped by Shahrukh! Should have been easily taken. Urvil bravely steps out first time he faces Rashid and hit that flat and hard. The fielder ran to his left at long-on and got there easily, comfortable catching height too but Shahrukh had his fingers pointing down and couldn't close it in time
8
4
Sai Kishore to Urvil Patel, FOUR, in the airrr and just bounces inside the rope! Full and turning away outside off stump, Urvil reaches out using his long levers and lofts on the rise with the turn. Ball went to the wide long-off fence. That last ball boundary wins the over for CSK

4
Gerald Coetzee to Urvil Patel, FOUR, sprays down leg again and disappears for four more! Full and down leg, Urvil swings it fine. Man at fine leg but he couldn't get there in time
6.5
4
Gerald Coetzee to Urvil Patel, FOUR, poor line! Classic case of bowler struggling to adjust to right-left combo. Would have been a fine line to Conway, but Urvil being a RHB got inside this short of length delivery and helped it away fine
6.3
4
Gerald Coetzee to Conway, FOUR, why need both hands when one can do it for you? Full and outside off stump, Conway leans forward and drives, bottom-hand comes off but the top-hand was well-glued and placed it past mid-off to the right
6
4
Prasidh to Conway, leg byes FOUR, four more! The plan was evident. To bowl middle or tight to Conway with zero room outside off stump. Prasidh errs by firing further down and Conway said thank you very much and tickled it fine to make it joint-best PP of the season for the Super Kings
5.5
4
Prasidh to Conway, FOUR, Conway flicks and gets it past Rashid to spoil the over for Prasidh. Full and on the pads, knows it's going to be there so he was ready for it. Ball landed awkwardly in front of Rashid so he couldn't stop the ball
4.4
6
Siraj to Urvil Patel, SIX, oh there's the pick up shot he tried twice earlier and missed. This was the fullest ball of those attempts and Urvil middled it nicely. Man back at deep square leg but it's cleared him
3.4
W
Prasidh to Ayush Mhatre, out Caught by Siraj!! It's a mishit and it's taken really well at mid-off. Prasidh has been GT's best bowler for a reason. Troubled a dangerous-looking batter in the build up and outsmarts him with a slower ball. The length was the key. Kept it full and kept the tease on but Mhatre was in the mood to belt them. He fell in the trap. The batter thought he could have a lofted shot over mid-off, instead skied it high and Siraj did well back-pedalling and grabbing reverse cup style. Excellent cameo, excellent bowling! Ayush Mhatre c Siraj b Prasidh 34(17) [4s-3 6s-3]
2.5
4
Siraj to Conway, FOUR, punchy and crunchy from Conway! A gentle forward stride, letting the length ball come close to the him and punching it with an open bat face to send it between cover and cover-point. Top shot!
2.2
4
Siraj to Conway, FOUR, this time edge found but GT have only one slip. Understanbly so! Good length delivery angling away, Conway looks to slash, edge rolls past the first slip fielder to the left

6
Arshad Khan to Ayush Mhatre, SIX, stunning swivel-hook that Mhatre! Arshad Khan going for a proper short ball, but the time Mhatre had to nicely roll and hit that towards fine leg after getting on top of the bounce was a sight to watch. 28 runs off that over and the Super Kings are roaring
1.5
4
Arshad Khan to Ayush Mhatre, FOUR, in the airrrr, just over the leaping Sai Kishore! Mhatre shaping up for a big slog again, this time he was cramped for room by this full delivery. Bat turns in hands on impact and it flies over mid-wicket
1.4
4
Arshad Khan to Ayush Mhatre, FOUR, Arshad Khan tries to push this outside off stump but Mhatre leans forward and drives wide of mid-off for four more. This is excellent batting. Reacting smartly to what's coming at him
1.3
6
Arshad Khan to Ayush Mhatre, SIX, he was ready for the ball that's full. Typical response after a short ball from a pacer. Young Mhatre ready for it. Clears the front leg out of the way and lofts handsomely down the ground over mid-on
1.2
6
Arshad Khan to Ayush Mhatre, SIX, this time he succeeds! This is the exact shot he wanted to hit previous ball. Arshad Khan dishing out short of length that stands up nicely. Mhatre stays tall and deep in the crease, hits on the rise and hits all the way over long-on
0.4
4
Siraj to Ayush Mhatre, FOUR, thumped down the ground! Again getting close to the line of the ball and this time he belts this on the rise over the bowler's head for the first boundary
